The 3-Task Method: How to Actually Finish Your Day
Most to-do lists are wishful thinking. You write down twelve things, do three, and feel like a failure. The 3-task method fixes this with a simple constraint: only three tasks per day.
Here is how it works. Each morning, identify the three things that would make today a success. Not five, not seven — three. Write them down. Do them. When all three are done, you are done.
The magic is in the constraint. When you cannot add a fourth task, you stop negotiating with yourself. You stop adding low-value items to feel busy. You finish what matters and you stop.
Try it for one week. You will be surprised how much you accomplish by doing less.
